The other side was worse.
Absolutely amazing what you’ve done this weekend. Great ride. One question how many hours did you put in in mapping your route for this ride ?
Thank you, Tim!
I’m afraid your going to need a warrant if you want to know that information. 😎 I actually have no idea (I’d rather not think about it) but it was definitely more than I spent riding the routes. I honestly enjoy the planning – nearly – as much as the riding. Some people spend hours playing video games. Ride planning is that to me.
I may be wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen over a thousand points earned in 3 days! Impressive weekend Tim!
Thank you, Gilbert! I had to merge two different rides into one with little notice and realized in the process that a thousand was a possibility. I just wasn’t sure I could tolerate all the stopping. (There were several times that I spent more time at a bonus than I did riding there from the previous one.) But I had to do it if only to try and catch the other Tims 🙂
It is hard to get one’s mind around what you just pulled off here Tim. Beyond belief. Beyond words. Thanks for sharing your moto-bike fun and congrats on an epic weekend that was truly magnificent. Keep on Truckin’
Wow. Thank you, John. I had such a blast (except for way too much Interstate 5 on Saturday). It wasn’t a ton of miles – about 1,100 over two and a half days – just a LOT of stops. I’ve no doubt that plenty of folks in this rally could’ve done this with ease if they wanted to. I just had a favorable set of circumstances fall in my lap and couldn’t resist trying. The sad part is I’m likely all but done getting bonuses for this year but I’ll be looking for Bible names for months.
